Dragos Named Among Fastest-Growing Companies in North America for Third Consecutive Year

High growth driven by demand for award-winning technology codified with OT-specific threat intelligence to secure global industrial and critical infrastructure

Hanover, Maryland, November 9, 2023 — Dragos Inc., the global leader in cybersecurity for operational technology (OT) environments, today announced it was named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech, and energy tech companies in North America for the third consecutive year. Dragos grew more than 535% between 2019 and 2022.

Dragos’s strong revenue growth underscores the increasing necessity for OT cybersecurity as governments and infrastructure providers recognize the importance of protecting industrial infrastructure from cyber threats. The market-leading Dragos Platform is codified with OT-specific threat intelligence and insights from the industry’s largest team of ICS/OT practitioners. The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 recognition caps a number of other key milestones for the company this year. In September, Dragos announced $74 million in a Series D extension bringing the Series D round to $274 million, with funds raised to date totaling approximately $440 million. In July, Dragos entered into a partnership with Macnica to deliver OT cybersecurity to critical infrastructure and manufacturing control systems in Japan and in August signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Singapore to strengthen Singapore’s OT cybersecurity capabilities.  Additionally, the SC Awards program named Dragos as Most Promising Unicorn, and the Dragos Platform was awarded Best Industrial Security Solution.  In the SC Awards Europe, Dragos was named Best Incident Response Solution.

Now in its 29^th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 provides a ranking of the fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech, and energy tech companies — both public and private — in North America. Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2019 to 2022.

In order to be eligible for Technology Fast 500 recognition, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company’s operating revenues. Companies must have base-year operating revenues of at least US$50,000, and current-year operating revenues of at least US$5 million. Additionally, companies must be in business for a minimum of four years and be headquartered within North America.
